Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Trading Arena collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we do not sell your data, and verified track records are public by design.

What we collect

Account information: your email address and a password hash (or Google account identifiers if you sign in with Google). Profile information you choose to add: display name, bio, links, and images you upload. Activity the product records to function: performance screenshot uploads used to verify your track record, derived portfolio snapshots and rankings, posts, comments, likes, follows, and subscription/billing status via Stripe. Technical basics: IP address and device information in server logs, used for security and abuse prevention.

What is public

Trading Arena exists to make track records public among members. Your handle, display name, bio, posts, follower relationships, screenshot-verified return, rankings, and related portfolio summary are visible to verified members. Your email address is never public. Raw brokerage screenshots are processed to extract return figures and are not shown as a public gallery.

How we use it

To operate the platform: verifying track records from uploaded screenshots, ranking accounts, and showing the feed. To bill subscriptions through Stripe. To keep the platform honest: moderating reported content and preventing abuse. To communicate: transactional email about your account. We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising.

Payments

Card and payment details are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Billing status (active, trialing, canceled) is stored so we can grant or revoke verified access.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. To request a copy of your data or deletion of your account, email [email protected]. Deleted accounts are removed from public view; backups clear on a rolling basis.

Track records are not brokerage accounts

Trading Arena is not a broker. We never collect brokerage login credentials. Track records come from trader-uploaded performance screenshots. Nothing on Trading Arena is investment advice.
